If you’ve ever met Kavin, you know he is passionate about youth ministry. For the past 14 years, he has dedicated his life to sharing the love and grace of Jesus and creating spaces where people feel known, loved, and encouraged in their faith. For Kavin, ministry isn’t just about what happens on a stage. It’s about walking alongside people, building genuine relationships, and helping them experience God in a real and personal way.

Preaching and teaching are more than things Kavin loves to do. They are at the heart of his calling. He has a gift for taking deep biblical truths and making them accessible, relatable, and practical. Whether preaching a sermon, leading a small group, or sitting across from a student in conversation, his goal is the same: to help people see just how incredible Jesus is and discover what it looks like to follow Him in everyday life. Kavin believes Scripture isn’t simply something we study. It’s something we live.

At the center of Kavin’s ministry is a conviction that students are not just the future of the Church. They are the Church right now. He is passionate about helping students discover their identity in Christ, take ownership of their faith, and understand that they have something meaningful to contribute to the Kingdom of God today. While youth ministry should absolutely be fun and full of community, Kavin believes its deepest purpose is discipleship: helping the next generation become lifelong followers of Jesus.

Kavin currently serves as a Pastor and Director of High School Ministry in the Bay Area, where he has the privilege of mentoring students, helping them navigate faith and life, and building a ministry where they know they belong. Through weekly gatherings, small groups, preaching, and one-on-one conversations, he works to create a community where students are welcomed, valued, challenged, and empowered to grow.

At the core of everything Kavin does is a genuine love for people and a deep love for Jesus. He wants people to know that they don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to God. His heart for ministry can be seen not only in what he teaches, but in how he listens, leads, shows up, and walks alongside others as they discover what it means to follow Jesus.
